Vineyard visits

As the setting of some of the most celebrated wineries in the country, Ashford is the perfect spot for a foodie’s dream retreat. With vineyards across the region, you’ll be spoiled for choice, but whether you choose to tour the area’s newest boutique vineyards, like Woodchurch Wine Estate, Warehorne Vineyard, Wayfarer Wines and Brabourne Vineyard, or the established wineries that have been stealing the headlines for decades, your visit will include some of the finest English still and sparkling wines around.

Choose from guided tours and tastings accompanied with the freshest local produce or even drive-free tours with the likes of Wine Tours of Kent and Opulence so you can sample a selection of the finest wines this region has to offer without the need of a designated driver.

You’ll soon see that each of Ashford’s vineyards offers their own experiences, ranging from tutored tastings with the wine makers, harvest time tours, and picnics in the vines, to three-course lunches perfectly paired with wines produced just metres away.

Please be sure to check the opening hours of all of the vineyards below, before you visit.
