Ashford’s high street is the place to be this summer as Love Ashford host a series of family-friendly events and workshops as part of The Fabric of Ashford; The Place That Makes Us.

Loveashford is delighted to be working in partnership with event company Emergency Exit Arts, who are fresh from their stunning large-scale parade for the Queen’s Jubilee Pageant, to bring back The Fabric of Ashford which debuted in 2021.

This year features a fabulous line-up of events that will run throughout July and August. There will be something for the whole family to enjoy; including pop-up workshops, live music, street entertainment, art installations and storytelling events.

Ashford Storytelling Workshop, Made in Ashford 19th June, 11am – 12.30pm and 2.30pm – 4pm
Take a walk around the town centre with local artists to share your special stories of Ashford, whilst taking photos of the places that you know and love. Your photos will be printed onto fabric and sewn together to form a community-created art installation - the Ashford Tapestry.

Launch Event, Bandstand 2 July, 11am – 4pm
