Families looking for a fun, FREE activity this October half-term need look no further than
Elwick Place and Ashford Town Centre, where the Spooktacular Trail is set to take place. Running from Saturday 26th October to Sunday 3rd November, the exciting Halloween-themed adventure invites families looking to enjoy some outdoor spooky fun in search of clues while exploring the town.
The Elwick Place Spooktacular Trail invites children (and adults too!) to track down a cast of spooky characters hidden in shop windows across the town. With a trail sheet that can be picked up from The Ashford Cinema, participants can set off on an adventure to solve the clues and find the characters hidden at 14 different locations. The trail is designed with all ages in mind and comes in a quest to offer FREE activities for the local community.
Once participants have completed the trail, they can then return their sheets to the spooky post box located at The Ashford Cinema for a chance to win fiendishly fabulous film prizes, courtesy of The Ashford Cinema.
In addition to the trail, children are also invited to join in on two FREE craft days held upstairs at The Ashford Cinema on Tuesday 29th October and Thursday 31st October
(Halloween) from 11am to 2pm. Children can get creative with fun activities like spider-making and pumpkin colouring.
