If your passion is rambling cycling or fishing, the landscapes surrounding Ashford and Tenterden are hard to resist.  Here routes range from long-distance paths to atmospheric town trails, and canals and lakes are chock-full of fish.

If fly fishing is your way of unwinding, why not indulge in a few hours of relaxation at Tenterden Trout Waters set in tranquil surroundings.

Pull on your walking boots to encounter a remarkable selection of paths, encompassing don't-miss rural trails - The North Downs Way, Greensand Way, Stour Valley Walk and historic Pilgrims Way are all close by.

For cyclists, National Route 18. is a glorious heritage ride through the Weald heading west out of Ashford, along quiet country roads to charismatic Tenterden  It also sweeps east along tranquil lanes to Wye.
