Award-winning Revelation is Ashford's Number 1 Music and Art’s Venue, set in the heart of the town. Offering a unique, up-close and personal night out it programmes a range of events to suit everyone including music, storytelling, children shows, theatre, talks and films. Popping up in the beautifully restored St Mary’s Church, it has previously featured shows from Maddy Proir, Gaz Coombes, Jon Boden, Michael Portillo, The Lightning Seeds, Craig Charles and This is The Kit.  

The range of exciting events is enough to inspire entire culture-based weekend breaks.  Each June talented local artists showcase their works in South East Open Studios.  July sees The Spirit of Tenterden, a three day festival of music, ales, local food and much more.

The Tenterden Folk Festival in October, is a four-day celebration of traditional music and dance, and early music aficionados delight in June's Stour Music Festival; when world-class musicians deliver memorable performances in the 13th century Pilgrim church at Boughton Aluph.
